The Brief
Foreign Beyond is a travel site... of sorts. An *unnamed* client wanted a dynamic, attention-grabbing site to present his travel stories and photos to the unsuspecting public. The site would leverage CSS3 animations to push the boundaries of modern web development while remaining true to web standards and best practices.
The Approach
This site gave me the opportunity to try new and exciting techniques I hadn't yet attempted outside the safety of my private Codepen account. The design is based upon a Brooklyn-based design agency, though the code is 100% original. I created custom hover animations and used modified Bootstrap carousels with fade-animations for the galleries.
