The Brief
Vermont Wilderness Rites is a small company that organizes and runs group-based, nature-driven rites of passage throughout the state. The organization's director, Fran Weinbaum, contacted me to revamp and redesign a cluttered and unstructured site.

The Approach
The organization needed a way to clearly present basic information to website visitors. I identified their goals and mission and set about oganizing and redevloping a new site based upon structure and content. I ended up stripping the site of numerous redundant links and text and streamlined the site to four central navigational items: About, Programs, Calendar and "Musings" (a catch-all blog). Users are now able to go to the calendar page to see when programs will run and to individual program pages to learn about the various rites of passage.
Fran edits and updates her site using the headless CMS Surreal.
